Welcome to the Sylvan Hills Department of Dance! Here at Sylvan we believe in developing the entire child. With access to a dance program, we afford each child with the ability to tap into their creativity and express themselves freely through movement.
Meet Mrs. Rice
Mrs. Rice is a professional dancer hailing from Dallas, TX. with over 21 years of dance experience, Mrs. Rice has been trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and acro. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Spelman College, a Master’s of Education in Exercise Science from Auburn University, and a Master's of Arts in Teaching at Georgia State University. Mrs. Rice is a former touring member of the iLuminate cast and has danced with artist such as Snoop Dogg, Dondria, Nipsey Hussle, Dorough, Solja Boy, and Jim Jones. This is Mrs. Rice's 9th year as the dance director at Sylvan.
